A Brief History of Walk of Grace Chapel

Walk of Grace Chapel in Council Bluffs, Iowa, was established on November 6, 2005, under the leadership of Founding Pastors Dave and Barb Hannah, who continue to faithfully shepherd the church to this day.

The church was born out of a restructuring of Pastor Hannah’s former congregation, with a renewed focus on the message of God’s grace—a message that remains central to everything we do. Over the years, we’ve grown in clarity and conviction about the importance of sharing this life-giving message with as many people as possible. Our mission is rooted in reaching the Council Bluffs and Omaha area with the good news of Jesus Christ, and we actively pray for wisdom, strategy, and passionate believers to join us in that calling.

In addition to our emphasis on grace, we embrace the Pentecostal expression of worship and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe in vibrant, outward expressions of praise such as singing, clapping, lifting hands, dancing before the Lord, and praying in tongues—joyful responses to the presence of God among us.

We have two services every week (learn more about them on our Council Bluffs Church Services page) a Sunday morning worship service at 10:30 AM and a Tuesday evening Bible study at 7:00 PM.
